After decades of being relegated to the shadows, psilocybin is finally getting its well-deserved moment in the sun. With the movement to decriminalize and legalize psychedelics gaining momentum, it’s only a matter of time before psilocybin shops appear on every street corner to service the rapidly growing demographic of 'shroomers.

While it may be difficult to imagine legit magic mushroom dispensaries on main, the gradual wave of cannabis legalization moving across the country can serve as a model to predict a likely similar journey for psilocybin. After all, not long ago it would have been impossible to envision a cannabis shop designed like an Apple store, nestled in next to Nordstrom, but today that’s the reality in many parts of the US.
